Grow in Faith

There are many ways to connect to Christ and we at Trinity are committed to helping you find the place of service that fits your passion and your giftedness.

Kenwood Reading Buddies

Serve as a reading buddy for a child at Kenwood Elementary School. You can serve at a time that fits your schedule throughout the school day.  A background check is necessary to serve in this ministry.

Youth Group

Students in grades 6-12 can join in the fun as they learn about faith and grow relationships that will last a lifetime! Youth group meets twice a month on Sunday evenings.

Live Nativity

Every year on the Sunday before Christmas the west side of our church transforms into a scene right out of Bethlehem! As we re-enact the night that Jesus was born. Its a beautiful sight to see, with carol singers, camels, donkeys, and even a llama or two! We celebrate the birth of our Savior with grace and love as we welcome him with songs of praise. Come and join us every December to be a part of this special ministry event.

UMSO

The United Methodist Student Organization is a campus ministry sponsored by Trinity UMC at BGSU. Students gather together on campus to study the Bible together, serve their fellow students, and share life together in fellowship. For more information visit https://www.umsobg.com/.

Trinity Connections

Members of the Trinity family visit all of the nursing facilities in Bowling Green every month. We sing favorite hymns, share scripture, poetry, pray and share a meaningful message.

Our Missions Team works dilligently all year to care for the needs of those living in poverty in Bowling Green any beyond. We offer a little necessitites pantry at the Northeast side of our building, pack food baskets for the hungry at Christmas time, and offer free meals at different times throughout the year.

Congregational Care Team

This group makes weekly visits to our

home bound members, nursing home residents, hospice patients, or those who are temporarily in rehab after surgery. They deliver the weekly sermon and bulletin to homebound members and assist the pastor in keeping in contact with members who are ill.

Sew, Knit and Crochet Group

The group’s mission is to provide needed items for local nursing homes as well as for our own church membership.  We have recently merged with the Prayer Shawl Group, so anyone who can knit, crochet, sew, iron, pin and/or cut fabric, or just wishes to enjoy Christian fellowship is welcome to join us!

Esther's Circle

Our chapter of United Women in Faith is a busy group of women who work hard to serve others and share their faith in community. They meet monthly on the second Wednsday of the month at 10:00am in the library/conference room.

Music Ministries

Our chancel choir, handbell choir, and "Children of God" choir offer opportunites for people of all ages and musical talents to be involved in the music ministries at Trinity!
