Malik Halce

Malik is a classical pianist born in Kosovo. From his very early childhood years, he grew up with melodies of Ludwig van Beethoven, Roxette, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Edward Grieg, and Pink Floyd. During his studies at the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, he had many solo and chamber music concerts in Oslo and Budapest. In 2019, his recital took place at the International Chopin Piano Festival in Pristina, Kosovo. He also was invited to the Miami International Piano Festival consecutively in 2017 and 2018 and gave numerous concerts. He also played two concerts in the beautiful and historical city of Salzburg in Austria in 2012 that included pieces by Liszt, Chopin, Schumann, and Wagner/Liszt.

Living in many different countries, experiencing and adapting to distinct cultures gave him a multicultural perspective on music. He had opportunities to perform with so many musicians around the world in different nations. Playing chamber music and being connected with people has always been so fascinating for him. Sharing the same stage, creating a special atmosphere, breathing the same ambiance, and bringing out the different traditions regardless of where people are from are among his main inspirations.
